Dalumpinas Overseas Inc. (DOI) Dear Donor, Friend, Former Dalumpinas resident and Kakabagyan, Since we started DOI in 2005 we have done so much in reaching out to indigent families as well as most of the barangay residents in general. From the Backpack project in 2006, the Childrens Playground in 2007, the Medical Mission in 2008 and the Dental Mission early this year, we definitely accomplised a great deal of charitable work. These were all achieved because you continued to support us, thank you very much. But this is not going to stop here, because we know that we are doing the right thing and with God's blessing we will continue to reach our goals. Besides those yearly projects, we continued our Feeding program for malnourish children and most importantly our continous supply of medications to poor barangay residents with known long term medical conditions. This particular program which started as a pilot project in 2008 turned out to be a very useful one and in fact a Sannicolanian medical doctor living in the United States is considering to do the same to all barangays in our hometown!!. Big deal. Most recently, with DOI initiatives, the San Nicolas Assc. of Ontario Canada (SNAO) donated money towards the construction of a library inside one of the rooms in the elementary school. Reference books, a computer, printer/copier machine, additional chairs and bookshelves will be needed and will be supplied when funds are available.
The above mentioned programs will require
continous funding and therefore I am asking you once again to please help us
with your voluntary donation of any amount that you can afford. To our "
kakabagyan " living overseas, please do not forget our roots especially the
children who will be the most to benefit from this. Kindly, make your pledge
today by visiting the website www.pangasinan.org/san nicolas/DOI and send
your donations to the address below or if you have any question to please
contact me or any of our coordinators. Very truly yours
Rudy Ortiz
