I'm back!!!! Sorry for being quiet for some time... I was on my ML for my second child. I've read that somebody already initiated to continue the backpack project after the 2007 Backpack Project that I coordinated. I'm so glad to know that right now, more kabarangays from Tarece are volounteering to donate unlike the first time which I believe only Tita Corazon Magalong was from Tarece. SOME SUGGESTION : Since our kababayan abroad are obliged to remit their payments directly to the webmaster, IS IT ALSO POSSIBLE TO COLLECT AND SOLICIT LOCALLY?? Probably a volounteer from Tarece will do. He or she must be or can be entrusted with monetary donations as well as donations in kind. There are some well-to do family or above average family based in Tarece and nearby Barangays who can donate money or better yet, donate in king ( 1 bag with complete supplies as that of those which will be donated by our kababayan abroad). I haven't discussed it yet with her but for me, I WILL RECOMMEND MY AUNT - IGNACIA " ASYANG" DAVID PEREZ as the collecting officer. Any other volounteers or recommendations?? Just keep in touch. Gani, If I read your post message right, you are one board on P10,000.00 backpack project. Corazon Magalong is coordinating this project. As I have mentioned in my messages, this is valuable and the school children will enjoy and will have a lasting impact on their school life. The P10,000.00 will generate at least 40 backpack. Gani, as always "it's easier said than done" but "if there's a will, there's a way". And you're right, we need someone to step up the plate & unreluctantly accept the lead role - coordinator. Tito Eddie all the while you thought that kuya roland salvador is leading the alumni formation together with several teachers. Given this, I am very eager to provide support and dissiminating such info to fellow alumnus. I relayed the message to kuya roland if we can do it this dec. he said however that the daunting tasks that goes with it is overwhelming. He couldn't do it for now. I'm not sure about his thought in making this a reality. So, where do go from here? We need a core group who are relatively close at tarece with an open arms to accept the lead role and provide a conduit among alumni... marjorie wake up... everybody please chip in your thoughts... thanks

Say reunion balibali. hi All: Sorry If I was not active these past months.;-( I've been very busy at work but I always tried to log on during my free time. I was really hoping that somebody there could continue the Back Pack Project that I initiated last 2007 school year. I tried to solicit locally dia ed PLDT where I am working but when February 2008 came, we lost 2 of our big clients so I did not push thru with my proposal. Mr. Salvador is the principal and I am sure that Isagani De Vera is one of the sonsof my former Teacher Madam Josefina de Vera. I hope that he can organize the reunion not only for their batch but for all those who graduated from our school. The Chairman is still the same, so I hope that they can seek help from Chairman and from the Councilors for the fund raising. I totally agree with you. Marjorie did a marvelous job with the initial project (backpack) and I congratulate her for being such a good leader. Though she's working away from home, we difinitely need someone like her to take the lead. Let me praise Marjorie Delos Santos for her unselfish & positive views. God Bless You... Likewise, your project " Back Pack " has helped school children in our school. We need people like you. You see God ( yours, theirs & ours) in other peoples lives.. not your own self( mine,mine & mine). Like myself and I beleive other alumni.. we salute you. Let us start all over again.. Reunion is a great idea!!! Let us consciosly think what our actions(choices). There is a huge difference between suggestion and command/order. "Command/order"..will devoid once enthusiam. Suggestions open doors full of beautiful ideas. At this early stage.. the question is.. what( reunion), why ( goals/objectives)and last is where/when(place,time). Once we seriosly know these three "W's", then we need a group of persons (TES principal & staff) plus group of alumni ( recommend Marjorie) to conduct these huge undertaking. Bear in mind.. to always look to God (yours, theirs and ours). With these attitude you see, who is in front of you, who is on your left, who is on your right and you know where you came from. I did not say its my idea to have a reunion... it was the principal. If you think that we are after the credits of this event then I will respect your opinion but we really don't. I just thought that everyone will have a POSITIVIE reaction about this plan but it turned out the other way around based on your messages. We did not intend to bypass anybody, If that's your interpretation then we are asking for your apology but I would hope that things like this will not be discussed here since it will just encourage bad impression about our school. Instead of posting argument statements, it will be appreciated if you can post some more suggestions and things that you've done or will do to help everybody in organizing the said event. Everybody knows that any even will not be successful if there is no cooperation... say kapara to tan so panis tingting, no pigpigara o daisit, aga makapanis, aga makaalagey.
