Hello To All SJI Graduates: After revisiting our Alma Mater Saint John's Institute last January 2011, I realized that this simple high school produced lots of individuals who are now successfull either in careers or family residing in different parts of the world and in the Philippines. I came to realize that yes, I was part of this institution! Do you think it's about time to recognize the sacrifices and dedication to the founders of this school? I'm thinking to give tribute to all founders (Millora's) and early educators of this humble school. It would be a great idea also to have our very first "SJI Grand Reunion" to all who graduated from this institution, abroad or not. This proposed grand reunion is not only for "Balikbayans" but to all common tao! I don't want to be biased, but I would like to extend also the invitation to all individuals working abroad who are non-SJI graduates. All of us can have this reunion with your classmates from Cato and Bayambang (do we have more high school in Infanta that I missed?) This event will be a 2 days event, Saturday (whole day) would be "getting to know you" which is lunch picnic and Sunday night would be the "Grand Reunion" with different batches. Several awardees of this scholarship have already graduated from PSU and have already embarked on their chosen careers. Eligibility Requirements. An applicant must: • be a graduate of any high school in Infanta; • have a grade point average (GPA) of at least “B” or equivalent; • possess good moral character and show potential and motivation to succeed; • participate in volunteer community service activities; and • if needed as tie-breaker, demonstrate financial need.
