I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Benaza and his wife to a party hosted by my aunt in Perris, CA. I was very glad that I found my co-Dasolinian, who I would say prominent in our town, and the brain and mover of the DMJMHS alumni homecoming. Mr. Benaza, I admire your leadership and dedication in bringing our "kababayans" as a whole community spirit of service and volunteerism. As a I went back to this message board, I am saddened by the back and forth derogatory comments by our fellow brothers and sisters, who are all but belong to one community of our lovely town Dasol. We do have a very good topic to discuss with. Anybody who works in a healthcare Field setting we encounter a lot of people with medical diagnosis as well as other of illnesses that comes along with it such as cognitions or behaviors. Same thing in School form early childhood to adulthood. So Topics like the one mentioned below is a good beginning to discuss EMOTIONS: MANAGING YOUR EMOTIONS; You are well aware of the perception in our society of women as overly emotional creatures. the truth is that all humans need to put a great deal of effort into controlling their emotions. A healthy and balanced life is based largely on your success in managing your emotions. If you have previously had trouble in this area, the good news is that you can get better at it. MAKE YOURSELF AWARE OF YOUR EMOTIONS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE: Beginning early on life, we realized how powerful our emotions truly are. Before you begin to contemplate the many ways by which you can gain more control over your emotions, it will help to remember that you are not alone when it comes to having to endure emotional chaos. It is often something the anyone can feel slipping away, yet powerless in preventing it from escalating.Once you realize how important your emotions are, you will learn to cherished them regardless of how everwhelming and troublesome they may seem on occasion!. MANAGING YOUR EMOTION is something that only YOU can do. You may find help from others but only you can control your thoughts and feelings. This is certainly not to be confused with suppressing your emotions. Widely held beliefs make us feel that hiding your emotions deep down inside will only lead to pain and trouble in the future. KNOW WAHT YOU ARE FEELING. Be fully aware of you and your emotions. Identify your emotions. knowing what you are feeling is a long way towards understanding yourself and why your life is as it is (for better or for worse). Otherwise, you will remain stuck in your feelings, a virtual prisoner to an identity that you do not want or need. This kind of reflection can only lead to a better you. FEEL YOUR FEELINGS AS FULLY AS YOU CAN. Once you have identified both your feelings and the thought patterns that lead to them, make an effort to rid your body and your mind of them. You can only do this by fully feeling what it feels like to be, for example an insecure person. Find a quiet time and place to shut your eyes and breathe deeply. Imagine all of the sensations that might come with being insecure, and let yourself truly feel them. Let them temporarily overwhelm you. Once you have felt all that you an possibly feel, let the feelings fade away. by facing them head on, you have put yourself in a better position to defeat them (your emotions). This will work much better in the end as you think yourself of the negative baggage that has accumulated during your lifetime. You have to build a solid emotional foundation for your future. to do that is to develope thought patterns that are positive and reaffirming. They will enable you to sport a new outlook in life and will be the basis for your new set of emotions. Remember that you will always have emotions because you are an emotional creature by nature. the goal is not to avoid having emotions. Trying to do this is basically futile and can lead to a greater sense of frustration than if you confront them. It is most beneficial to embrace your emotions-both goo and bad ones. A fresh set of beliefs and thought patterns will help you develop a more positive way of emoting. so manage your emotions by feeling them. This will ensure a more fulfilling and happy emotional life, thus leading to better relationships with both those around you and youself. If we all practice on how to effectively manage our emotions there will be more happpy and contented as well as understanding people around you. Thank you very much God Bless. HOW TO CONTROL EMOTIONS This would give you guides on how to control your emotions towards your better-half, friends, officemates and all the people around you, especially your "boss" . The rules of practicing "ugaling langit, ugaling kaaya-aya" : #1 Ang naunang magalit ang may karapatang magalit. Pag naunahan ka na ng galit niya, tumahimik ka na lang muna. #2 Walang taong nag-aaway mag-isa. Pag hindi kayo sumagot o pumatol, titigil din daw ang taong nakikipag- away sa inyo. #3 Ang taong galit, 'bingi.' If someone is angry, wala raw pinakikinggan, so, don't try to explain and fight back. Hindi ka niya iintindihin dahil wala siyang naririnig kundi ang sarili nya. #4 Ang taong galit, 'abnoy.' Ayon sa pastor, Biblical daw ito? because the Lord said when He was crucified, "Father, patawarin mo sila dahil hindi nila alam ang kanilang ginagawa." Modern term for these kinds of people are abnoys, so you better not get angry para huwag kang matawag na abnoy. You should also know and realize that the persons who make your day bad are jewels, because you need them for you to mature. Hangga't andyan daw sila at kinaiinisan mo, ibig sabihin, immature ka pa. God will not take away those people; it's for you to take away your bad feelings towards them. Note: If promoting Friendship and Unity is the purpose and Goal for everyone in this DCS Board or site IT IS THE BEST THING. Most of the time the truth need to prevail. The truth of the fact is if we come up with resolution in order to make peace with everyone that will be a good start amongst each other including myself as a guest in this site. We don't need to request the web master to erase or delete messages that has something to do with truth. Of course we need to give RESPECT and DIGNITY to others but there are some exceptions to the rule as well. Denying others with the previldge of expressing themselves the truth and reality will not give its purpose as implied from someone whose identity is unknown or has the authority to request to delete messages that contains truth. Attacking others in a non humane way is another thing. I am not the only one who wanted peace and unity in this board as you notice. It is just about right that someone need to step up to make peace for the sake of others who like to post descent messages in this DCS Board. I am sorry but that's how I feel. first of all I would like to introduce myself, my name is Arsenia Navalta, I did not attend this school nor Bayview High School. I have due respect for both schools becuase we have to promote friendship and unity no matter what school we attended. I went to Dasol Central elementary School, My friends and classmates on both schools all have good manners and nothing to compare.promotion of friendship for both need to be applied.
