I would like to impose criticism about your memo-flyer in organizing the All HS reunion. How could you include Class 2010 if none of them might not come to Las Vegas? You are asking for advance reservation and you do not even know how much the cost of the Dinner and Dance along with what Hotel and Casino? Class 69 just completed their 40th Class Reunion and it did require a rigid regional meetings and it resulted with success. So, I suggest that you need their assistance in the organization of such a big event as you are planning.

Thanks for the info. I happened to just finish reading Bolusan's book and curious as to how his birthplace is not on Binalonan's current list of communities. I am also from Pangasinan, and being and immigrant myself, I owe him a gratitude and respect. Thanks again

It's speculative at this point and time, but a refutable source said Manguzmana is now an independent state (barangay). It might have ceceded from Binalonan town.

Hello, This is more an opinion than a message about politics. Politicians are infected with the same entitlement mentality that has spread like cancerous germs in the country. Politics is not limited to Manila but, also in smaller towns. Binalonan for the last countless decades, and whose plague has been sweeping the town, awaiting a new leadership. Philippines is not a great nation, there’s no leader today that can wave a magic wand and make your pain disappear. There is widespread sentiment throughout the country and the government failure resulted in the current crisis is completely the result of bad leadership. You are living through the inevitable outcome of the actions from politicians for years. It’s time for you to take responsibility because you cannot wait for politicians to take accountability. Dynasty is not effective. Many politicians tried and people suffered in the process. Let’s look at these politicians that have stressed this venue. They are Cuba, Korea, Haiti, Iraq, and others. People from these countries are defecting and looking for opportunities outside the country. There’s no democracy in the Philippines. Democracy simply means “The political orientation of those who favor government by the people or by their elected representatives”. Does your vote really belong in this category? Doubtful. How do we resolve this dilemma? The Roman empire ruled the glove for over 1,000 years. The people entrusted politicians to make decisions. However, if their leadership is unsuccessful. The repercussion is death. The Japanese culture demotes leader not only in politics but also in private sectors. The failed leader starts over and re-trained. It’s total dishonor in that society. I won’t mention Middle East policy. People need to be the strong force when the leader fails. The vigor needs to be massive to overthrow the ineffective leader(s). If the next leader is a disappointment. Do it over until you find the messiah who has the magic wand. Let’s pray that someday the Philippines culture will change. Because, as we know, it is easier to start a new culture than change the existing one. Thank you for reading.
