I was informed by a friend to open this website and of course I was excited if I know anybody here but I only found you that belongs to the '63 graduates. Pare, how are you and Mare Julie. Like you, we have now 6 grandchildren, 5 girls and 1 boy. I am still working and hope to retire before the end of the year. Your Pare has retired last May. Hi to the daughter of Eling Cayabyab- and granddaughter of Tio David Cayabyab. I am so excited to hear from you. I have so many fond memories of my stay at your grandfather's house, love to hear stories from your grandma, memories about your mom, auntie Rose, auntie Norma and your uncle Oding. Your uncle was married to my relative, Lily and they reside in Missouri. Your mom is beautiful, very reserved, hard-working, considerate and friendly I love her and one of my favorites among the sisters. I have not heard from her since then. Your grandfather was so fatherly to all of the boarders- made sure that everybody is home by evening and presence was accounted for. He treated everybody his very own. Your grandmother was hard working and a very ideal mother and a wife. I remember her washing the uniforms of your uncle (who was then a medical student at that time). I missed all those happy, and memorable days I had at your grandpa's house. May their souls rest in peace and May God Grant them Eternal Life. How is everybody? Is your mom now in States? I know that your auntie Rose is in Washington State (where I am)because she called one time. I would like to see her and meet her family but they live far from my place. What a small world cris. one of my friends mentioned this website and logged on and keep on ckecking any message from who would come across my posted message for a long time. then finally i put 2 and 2 togther 1961 and your name which seems familiar to me,that is why i asked the question if you boarded at mr. david cayabyab. yes, you are right i was that guy you mentioned. after 1963 graduation i taught at tobor, malasiqui, pang. june 1965 i joined u.s. navy for 20 yrs retired and went to worked for federal gov. and retired again.i am married 3 girls and 6 grandchildren. my sister is a nurse residing in fremont ca. i have vivid memory when you have hard time breathing in the middle of the night. i am residing currently in goose creek south carolina. we are planning to take vacation to the island in feb 09. share me about your thought about me during those old days. also share some news about our boardmates. you have to excuse my below average spelling and grammar. iam very happy that you reponded.

To Eduardo Estrada- Yes, I graduated in 1961 from Pangasinan Normal School and stayed at Tio David Cayabyab's boarding house with Naty Estrada, Carmen Cayabyab, Felix De Vera, Farida Perez, Demetria Mamaradlo, and others. I know you because you are the cousin of Naty. I remember that you have a sister and you are from Binmaley. Please correct me if I am wrong. I love to think of all the people I know from college days and I long to get in touch with them. Thanks God, I found you. Sorry, I did not open website after I posted many years ago. Please keep me posted about you, Naty and other friends. I used to write poems on our school paper "Hilltop." After graduation in 1961 I got a teaching job in San Carlos Pangasinan, taught for 8 years and then applied for a teaching job in America and was accepted. I came in Seattle, WA in 1968, taught for 2 years then went to Accounting job at the University of Washington until now. I love my job so I do not want to retire- maybe when I turn eighty years old. Thank God for that April 11-12, 2008 Reunion. After 41 years we have seen each other again. matured, learned, and contributed the best of our youth for our country. Laughters and joy with the classmates we embraced but sadness for those who passed away. We reminisced the past and the future is strengthened by the stronger tie that bound us once again. God willing we will meet again on April 2012, at the PSU Bayambang Campus, 45 years after graduation and when most of us are 65. What a way to celebrate! We are counting on you to be there.

ma'm munoz, you still remember me ma'm.i'm samuel r. dela cruz, 1984 graduate, special education teacher and presently teaching here in maryland.i'm on my 3rd year of teachinh here. i'm so blessed to have a cooperating teacher like you. i was able to use those strategies/techniques i learned from my practice teaching.Teaching here is very different, not like in our country that discipline is not an issue, i struggled for almost a year in my classroom management. But now i've already learned and continued to be successsful.Only last month i was observed by my principal and she was impressed.I got excellent performance in my classroom management and all my students are on task.and the techniques/strategies i used, of course psu style. how i wish i could impart some of the techniques i learned to the aspiring teachers there.kudos PSU professors/instructors

LINGAYEN–The Pangasinan State University (PSU) has been named one of the six participating institutions in the Call Center project to be undertaken by state universities and colleges in the entire country. PSU President Victoriano Estira said the Call Center project, set up in three phases, will be set up at the Lingayen campus. Phase 1 involves the development of a state of the art call center facility that can accommodate 30 seats, expandable to 50; Phase 2 will focus on the training of potential call center agents; and Phase 3 will dwell on the evaluation of the outputs of the university grantees. Estira said the call center will serve as an incubation facility for people behind small and medium enterprises who may want to venture in business process outsourcing and may try out the viability of commercial operation in Pangasinan. It also provides an avenue for technology transfer and job creation for local job seekers, especially those who graduated from the university. The other five grantees are Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Technological University of the Philippines, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Tarlac State University and Laguna Polytechnic State University. Ten other state colleges and universities from the Visayas and Mindanao will be selected as the project progresses. Lawyer Willy Tanagon, project consultant of the Business Process Outsourcing Incubation Contact Center Project Monitoring Office of the Commission on Higher Education, said during the recent orientation workshop for the recruitment of trainees for the call center training services here, said the annual requirement for call center agents in different call centers nationwide is 150,000 and not all slots could be filled up. PSU is now accepting applicants who are of legal age, conversant in English, willing to work in a night shift and outside Pangasinan and is willing to be trained for one month with free meal and transportation allowance during the training. Competent trainees may be employed in PSU Call Center and other call centers nationwide. Interested job hunters may submit their resume at the office of the dean of any of the PSU campuses located in Lingayen, Binmaley, Bayambang, Urdaneta, Asingan, Sta.
