Salamat sa diyos at humupa na po ang baha. Pagkatapos po ng baha ay hindi passable sa mga tricycle at 4-wheeled vehicles yung 1st at 2nd na tulay kapag galing ka ng San Pedro Apartado/Vacante/Bersamin. Motorcycle lang po ang nakakadaan. Nagawan po ng paraan ng mga tao na pwedeng makadaan ang tricycle hangang sa Cupi. Kaya kapag pupunta ng bayan, kailangan mong bumaba at maglakad patawid ng tulay tapos lilipat na lang ng tricycle sa kabilang side ng tulay. Labis na naapektuhan ang mga tanim na palay ng mga magsasakang nasa gilid ng kalsada dahil natabunan ng mga bato at buhangin. Ang isa pang pinangangambahan ay ang pagbarat ng mga trader sa presyo ng palay dahil sa pagkababad sa tubig at pagiging maputik na maaring magdulot daw sa pagbaba ng kalidad ng bigas. So far, okay naman na ang sitwasyon. Salamat sa diyos dahil ma-araw na.

According to my sources, last Thursday October 8 Alcala was on alert becuase of the flood from neighboring towns Santo Tomas, Rosales, Bayambang. Our very industrious Mayor had all his kagawads and baranngay tanods worked to warn people especially the ones in ballasiw to leave their houses. The were monitoring the dike continuously. From cupe all the way to Bersamin was under water including Vacante. All the farm lands were covered with water like river. The road was not passable. As of last night, water has gone down ngem adda bassit nasawang idiay kalsada nga ag pa Bersamin when the mayor was informed pinagaburan na kano nga dagus isu maka dalan man ti luganen. The mayor has put a generator at the audituriom so people can go and re charge their phones because as of now there is no electricity. The Laoac Bridge stand still as we speak. I was told, that there are no cassualties but awan ti lako idiay tindaan awan nateng, awan sida, awan bagas etc. To our townmates and my barriomates and to all Pangasinense our prayers are with you with the hope that you will recover from any suffering mentally, physically and emotionally from the calamities brought by Ondoy and Pepeng. Thank you Mayor for working so hard to protect our beloved town Alcala.
