Town Plaza Beautification
ANOTHER PROJECT OF
ALCALENIANS OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

At the August 23, 2008 Picnic, the Alcalenians of Northern California, had an impromptu fundraising for a yet to be determined beautification project in Alcala, a project presented by Mayor Manuel T. Collado at the ANC meeting last year. The project includes the demolition of unsightly buildings and other infrastructures inside the town plaza. The plaza will have wide open lawn where we can again catch dragonflies, butterflies, “kuriat”, etc.; and maybe, just maybe, watch movies on the grass again. Do you remember those movie nights that were sponsored by Cortal, Tide, Breeze, etc.

Please join us in our journey to bring back something of the past.
